Founding

Kappa Delta Nu Grand Alpha Chapter was founded on September 28th, 2020 at the University of Texas, Dallas by four undergraduate students Aisha Ahmed, Fatma Khan, Farah Mohamed, and Shaania Sakhia.

ΚΔΝ was named after the hadith “khayr nisa
al jana”, or the best women of paradise
named by the Prophet SAW: “The best of the
women of Paradise are Khadijah bint Khuwaylid,
Fatimah bint Muhammad, Asiya bint Muzahim the
wife of Pharaoh, and Maryam bint ‘Imraan”.
We hope to emulate the qualities of these women as sisters of ΚΔΝ.

Kappa Delta Nu's official colors are sapphire blue, gold, and white.
